Indications:
Indicated for the treatment of cerebrovascular disorders, cognitive decline, memory impairment, dizziness, and tinnitus.
Pharmacology:
Vinpocetine acts as a vasodilator improving cerebral blood flow, enhances oxygen and glucose utilization in brain tissues, and exhibits neuroprotective properties.
Dosage:
Typical dosage is 5 mg two to three times daily or as directed by the physician.
Administration:
Administer orally, preferably after meals to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
Interaction:
May interact with anticoagulants and antiplatelet drugs; inform the healthcare provider about concurrent medications.
Contraindications:
