Description
NovoRapid FlexPen is a pre-filled insulin pen containing 3 mL (300 units) of insulin aspart, a rapid-acting insulin analogue used to control blood sugar levels in people with diabetes mellitus. It starts to act within 10–20 minutes after injection, peaks in 1–3 hours, and lasts for 3–5 hours. It is typically injected subcutaneously shortly before meals and can be used in combination with longer-acting insulins. The FlexPen device allows for precise dosing in 1-unit increments and is designed for ease of use and reliable delivery, making it suitable for both adults and children.
