ROSEPRIME 1000 MG is indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control alongside diet and exercise.
Pharmacology:
Contains Metformin, a biguanide that lowers blood glucose by decreasing hepatic glucose production and increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilization.
Dosage:
Typically, 500 mg to 1000 mg twice daily with meals; dosage should be individualized by the physician based on patient response.
Administration:
Take orally with meals to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Swallow tablets whole without crushing.
Interaction:
May interact with other antidiabetic drugs, iodinated contrast agents, and medications affecting renal function.
Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment, metabolic acidosis, and known hypersensitivity to Metformin.
Side Effects:
