SELDAN PLUS is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with common cold, allergic rhinitis, and other upper respiratory tract allergies including sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, and itching.

Pharmacology:
SELDAN PLUS usually contains an antihistamine (such as Chlorpheniramine maleate) and a decongestant (such as Phenylephrine). Antihistamines block histamine receptors to reduce allergy symptoms, while decongestants constrict blood vessels in nasal passages to relieve congestion.

Dosage:
Typically taken as 1 tablet every 4-6 hours, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours or as prescribed by the doctor.

Administration:
Take orally with water, preferably after meals to reduce stomach upset.

Interaction:
May interact with sedatives, tranquilizers, monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), and other medications. Inform your healthcare provider about all medicines you are using.

Contraindications:
Not recommended for patients with hypertension, severe heart disease, glaucoma, or those allergic to any component of the medicine.

Side Effects:
Possible side effects include drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, headache, and increased blood pressure.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed and prescribed by a doctor; safety in pregnancy and lactation is not fully established.
