Terbicon-IT contains Terbinafine Hydrochloride, an allylamine antifungal that inhibits the enzyme squalene epoxidase, disrupting fungal cell membrane synthesis and leading to fungal cell death. It has fungicidal activity against dermatophytes and fungistatic activity against yeasts.
Clean and dry the affected area before application.
Apply a thin layer once or twice daily (as directed) and gently rub in.
Duration varies: typically 1-2 weeks depending on the type of infection.
Wash hands after use.
No significant drug interactions reported for topical use. Avoid simultaneous use with other topical antifungals unless advised by a physician.
