Indications:

• Wrist sprain or strain

• Tendonitis and tenosynovitis

• De Quervain’s Syndrome

• Carpal tunnel syndrome

• Post-cast recovery

• Thumb ligament injuries

Pharmacology:
Not applicable (non-drug orthopedic device).
This brace provides anatomical support to the wrist and thumb using a rigid splint. It limits movement and stabilizes joints to promote healing and reduce pain.

Dosage:
Not applicable. Duration and frequency of use should follow the physician’s recommendation.

Administration:

• Place the thumb into the thumb compartment

• Wrap the brace around the wrist snugly

• Secure using Velcro straps

• Can be worn on either hand depending on model type

Interaction:

• No drug interaction

• Can be used alongside oral or topical pain medications if prescribed

Contraindications:

• Open wounds or rashes in the wrist or thumb area

• Severe swelling or circulatory problems unless cleared by a doctor

Side Effects:

• Minor skin irritation from prolonged use

• Discomfort if not worn properly

Pregnancy & Lactation:

• Safe to use during pregnancy and lactation; has no systemic effect
