ARON is indicated for relief of mild to moderate pain and inflammation caused by arthritis, musculoskeletal injuries, dental pain, and other inflammatory conditions.
Pharmacology:
ARON contains non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as Ibuprofen or Diclofenac (depending on formulation). These drugs inhibit cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), reducing prostaglandin synthesis which lowers pain and inflammation.
Dosage:
Dosage varies; typically 200-400 mg every 6-8 hours, not exceeding the recommended daily limit. Follow the doctor's prescription.
Administration:
Take orally with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal irritation.
Interaction:
May interact with anticoagulants, other NSAIDs, blood pressure medications, and certain supplements. Inform your healthcare provider about all medicines you are taking.
Contraindications:
Not recommended for patients with peptic ulcers, severe heart, liver or kidney disease, or hypersensitivity to NSAIDs.
Side Effects:
Possible side effects include gastrointestinal upset, nausea, dizziness, headache, and rarely, allergic reactions or gastrointestinal bleeding.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if prescribed by a doctor; NSAIDs are generally avoided in the third trimester of pregnancy.
