ALAGRA 120 MG is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men by improving penile blood flow and enabling erection.

Pharmacology:
Contains Sildenafil citrate, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor that increases cyclic GMP levels, causing smooth muscle relaxation and vasodilation in the corpus cavernosum of the penis.

Dosage:
The typical dose is 50 mg to 100 mg taken approximately 30-60 minutes before sexual activity; 120 mg dosage should be used under strict medical supervision.

Administration:
Take orally with water, with or without food. Do not exceed one dose per day.

Interaction:
May interact with nitrates, alpha-blockers, antihypertensives, and certain antifungal or antibiotic medications. Avoid concurrent use with nitrates due to risk of severe hypotension.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients using nitrates, with severe cardiovascular conditions, or known hypersensitivity to Sildenafil.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include headache, flushing, dizziness, nasal congestion, and visual disturbances. Seek immediate help if experiencing chest pain or severe allergic reactions.
