Indications:
ALCOHOL PADS 1 are indicated for use in cleaning and disinfecting the skin surface prior to injections, blood tests, or minor surgical procedures. They are also used in first aid for wound care to reduce the risk of infection.

Pharmacology:
Each pad is pre-saturated with 70% isopropyl alcohol, which is a widely used antiseptic. Isopropyl alcohol denatures proteins and dissolves lipids, effectively killing most bacteria, fungi, and some viruses on contact. It acts rapidly and evaporates quickly, leaving the skin sanitized and ready for medical procedures.

Dosage:
(Not applicable – usage is based on need.)

Administration:

Tear open the foil pouch and remove the pad.
Wipe the skin surface using the pad in a circular motion.
Allow the area to dry completely before administering any injection or incision.
Discard after single use.

Interaction:

Not intended for use with open wounds or mucous membranes.
Do not combine with other topical disinfectants unless recommended.
Avoid contact with eyes.

Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to isopropyl alcohol.
Do not use on deep wounds or severe burns.

Side Effects:
