OASIS TEARS® is indicated for the temporary relief of burning, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or exposure to wind or sun. It acts as a lubricant to alleviate symptoms associated with dry eye conditions.

Pharmacology:
The active ingredient, glycerin, is a natural compound that serves as an ocular lubricant. It helps to retain moisture on the eye surface, providing long-lasting relief from dryness and irritation. The preservative-free formulation ensures minimal risk of eye sensitivity.

Dosage:

• Adults: Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.

• Pediatric use: Consult a healthcare provider before use in children.

• Geriatric use: No significant differences in safety or effectiveness observed in elderly patients.

Administration:

• Tilt your head backward and pull the lower eyelid down.

• Squeeze the bottle gently to instill a drop into the eye.

• Close the eye and press the inner corner with your finger for about two minutes to prevent systemic absorption.

• Replace the cap tightly after use.

Interaction:
If multiple ocular medications are to be used, administer them at least 5 minutes apart to avoid dilution and ensure efficacy.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include temporary burning, eye irritation or pruritus, visual disturbance, and ocular discharge. These effects are generally mild and transient.

Pregnancy & Lactation:

Storage Conditions:
