DAFLON 1000 MG is primarily used to treat venous diseases such as varicose veins, hemorrhoids, and chronic venous insufficiency. This medication helps to improve blood flow in veins, reduce swelling, and relieve pain and discomfort associated with poor circulation. It is also used to alleviate symptoms related to hemorrhoidal disease, such as bleeding, itching, and pain.
Pharmacology:
DAFLON 1000 MG contains Diosmin and Hesperidin, two powerful flavonoids that work together to improve venous tone, enhance blood circulation, and reduce the permeability of blood vessels. Diosmin and Hesperidin have anti-inflammatory properties and help prevent the formation of blood clots, thereby reducing swelling and promoting better circulation in the veins. These active ingredients also help alleviate symptoms associated with varicose veins and hemorrhoids by reducing venous congestion and inflammation.
Dosage:
The usual dose of DAFLON 1000 MG is 1 tablet taken twice daily, preferably with meals. However, depending on the condition and severity, your healthcare provider may adjust the dosage. For the treatment of acute hemorrhoidal symptoms, a higher initial dose may be prescribed, followed by a reduced dose as the symptoms improve.
Administration:
Take DAFLON 1000 MG orally with food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablet, as it may affect the way the medication works.
Interaction:
DAFLON 1000 MG may interact with other medications, especially those that affect blood clotting or circulation. Always inform your doctor or healthcare provider if you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners), anti-inflammatory drugs, or other treatments for vascular health. No major known interactions with over-the-counter medications, but always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new medication.

DAFLON 1000 MG is contraindicated in patients who:
