Indications:
Essential hypertension (high blood pressure)
Reduction of cardiovascular risk in hypertensive patients
Suitable for patients requiring combination therapy of a calcium channel blocker and a diuretic
Pharmacology:
Natrixam combines two active ingredients:
Indapamide (1.5 mg) – a thiazide-like diuretic that reduces blood pressure by promoting sodium and water excretion.
Amlodipine (5 mg) – a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels to allow smoother blood flow and lower pressure.
The combination offers complementary action: Amlodipine controls vascular resistance while Indapamide aids in fluid balance.
