Indications:
D CORAL DX is indicated for the treatment and prevention of calcium and vitamin D3 deficiencies, osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, and for maintaining adequate calcium levels during pregnancy and lactation.
Pharmacology:
D CORAL DX combines calcium carbonate and vitamin D3. Calcium is vital for nerve function, muscle contraction, and bone structure. Vitamin D3 facilitates intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate, aiding in bone mineralization.
Dosage & Administration:
Adults: 1-2 tablets daily, preferably after meals or as directed by the physician.
Children: As directed by the physician.
Tablets should be swallowed whole with water.
Interaction:
Calcium may reduce absorption of tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, bisphosphonates, and levothyroxine. Thiazide diuretics may increase serum calcium levels. Vitamin D may enhance digitalis toxicity if taken concurrently.
Contraindications:
Hypercalcemia
Hypervitaminosis D
Severe renal impairment
Nephrolithiasis (kidney stones)
Hypersensitivity to any component of the product
Side Effects:
Mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as constipation, bloating, or nausea
Hypercalcemia with prolonged use or overdose

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Safe if taken as recommended. Calcium and vitamin D3 requirements increase during pregnancy and lactation, but dosage should not exceed prescribed limits. Consult with a physician before use.
Precautions & Warnings:
