Indications:
ANAPRIL 5MG Tablet is indicated for:

Control of high blood pressure (hypertension).

Management of chest pain (angina pectoris).

Treatment of certain types of irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias).

Prevention of migraine attacks.
Pharmacology:
Propranolol, a non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker, decreases the workload on the heart by reducing the heart rate and contractility. It also dilates blood vessels, leading to lower blood pressure and improved oxygen delivery to the heart.

Dosage:

Hypertension: 5-40 mg daily in divided doses based on medical advice.

Angina: 5-20 mg taken 2-3 times daily.

Migraine: 5-15 mg taken 2-3 times daily.

Take the tablet orally with water.

Do not discontinue use suddenly without consulting a physician.

Interaction:

May enhance the effects of other blood pressure-lowering medications.

May interfere with diabetes medications by masking hypoglycemia symptoms.
Contraindications:

Patients with severe asthma, bradycardia, or advanced atrioventricular block.
