Description
XICLAV GFS 70 ml is a pediatric antibiotic suspension containing a combination of Amoxicillin (a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic) and Clavulanic Acid (a beta-lactamase inhibitor). This formulation enhances the effectiveness of amoxicillin by protecting it from degradation by resistant bacteria that produce beta-lactamase enzymes.
XICLAV GFS (GFS = Granules for Suspension) is intended for reconstitution with water to form an oral suspension and is used primarily in children to treat a wide range of bacterial infections.
