PALORON 0.50 mg is a low-dose formulation of Haloperidol, a first-generation (typical) antipsychotic used primarily to manage psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia, acute psychosis, and Tourette syndrome. It is also sometimes prescribed for managing severe agitation or delirium.
This low-dose version (0.5 mg) is typically used for elderly patients, dose titration, or off-label uses such as management of nausea, delirium, or behavioral symptoms in dementia under medical supervision.
