Glipxen-M 850 Tablet is an oral antidiabetic medication used to control blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It combines two active ingredients: Linagliptin (2.5 mg) and Metformin Hydrochloride (850 mg). Linagliptin is a Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that works by increasing the levels of incretin hormones, which help the pancreas release more insulin and reduce glucose production in the liver. Metformin, a biguanide, works by lowering glucose production in the liver and increasing the body’s sensitivity to insulin
