Resva 10 mg Tablet contains Rosuvastatin, a statin medication used to manage elevated cholesterol levels. It is commonly prescribed for patients with primary hyperlipidemia, mixed dyslipidemia, and familial hypercholesterolemia. Rosuvastatin works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme responsible for cholesterol production in the liver, thereby lowering total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and triglycerides (TG).
