Pharmacology:
Folic Acid is a vital B-complex vitamin necessary for DNA synthesis, cell division, and red blood cell formation.
Zinc Sulfate is a trace element that supports numerous enzymes, strengthens immune defenses, and aids in cellular repair and reproduction.
Dosage:
One tablet daily, or as directed by a registered physician. Dosage may vary based on individual nutritional needs or deficiency severity.
Administration:
Take orally, preferably after meals. Swallow with water. Avoid taking with calcium or iron-rich foods simultaneously to ensure better zinc absorption.
Interaction:
Zinc may reduce absorption of antibiotics like tetracyclines and quinolones if taken together.
Folic Acid may interact with certain anticonvulsants (e.g., phenytoin), methotrexate, and sulfasalazine.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Folic Acid or Zinc
Avoid in Wilson’s Disease (zinc metabolism disorder) without medical advice
