GALET 50 MG is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and inflammation due to arthritis, musculoskeletal injuries, and other inflammatory conditions.

Pharmacology:
GALET 50 MG contains an NSAID (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug) that works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation.

Dosage:
The usual adult dose is 50 mg once or twice daily, depending on the severity of the condition and physician’s advice. Dosage adjustments may be necessary based on response and tolerance.

Administration:
Take GALET 50 MG orally with water, preferably after meals to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort. Do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Interaction:
May interact with anticoagulants, other NSAIDs, corticosteroids, and certain blood pressure medications. Inform your doctor about all medications being taken.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to GALET or other NSAIDs, active gastrointestinal bleeding, peptic ulcer disease, and severe renal or hepatic impairment.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include gastrointestinal upset, nausea, headache, dizziness, and rash. Serious side effects may include gastrointestinal bleeding, allergic reactions, or kidney dysfunction.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed and prescribed by a doctor, especially avoiding use in the third trimester. Consult healthcare provider before use during breastfeeding.
