PRIDE 1 MG is prescribed for anxiety disorders, panic attacks, and certain types of seizures, including absence and myoclonic seizures.

Pharmacology:
Contains Clonazepam, a benzodiazepine that enhances GABA neurotransmitter action, producing a calming effect on the brain and nerves by reducing abnormal electrical activity.

Dosage:
Starting dose is typically 0.25 mg to 0.5 mg twice daily; dosage may be adjusted by a physician according to patient response.

Administration:
Take orally with or without food; swallow the tablet whole.

Interaction:
May interact with alcohol, CNS depressants, anticonvulsants, and certain antidepressants. Disclose all medications to your healthcare provider.

Contraindications:
Not recommended in patients with hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines, severe respiratory conditions, liver disease, or sleep apnea.

Side Effects:
Side effects can include drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, impaired coordination, and rarely paradoxical reactions like increased anxiety.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed and prescribed. Clonazepam crosses placenta and is excreted in breast milk; consult doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
