LINALIT M 2.5/500MG is indicated for treatment and maintenance of bipolar disorder, effective in preventing both manic and depressive episodes through combined action.

Pharmacology:
This medication contains lithium carbonate, a mood stabilizer that modulates neurotransmitter release and neuronal excitability, and sodium valproate, an anticonvulsant that increases brain GABA levels to control mood swings and seizures. Together, they provide enhanced control of bipolar symptoms.

Dosage:
Dosage is individualized based on clinical response and blood levels of lithium and valproate. Usually started at low doses with gradual adjustments under medical supervision.

Administration:
Take LINALIT M 2.5/500MG orally with water, preferably after meals. Regular blood tests are essential to monitor lithium and valproate levels and prevent toxicity.

Interaction:
May interact with diuretics, NSAIDs, other anticonvulsants, and medications affecting renal or liver function. Inform your healthcare provider about all medications and supplements.

Contraindications:
