PRIDE 2 MG is indicated for the treatment of panic disorder, anxiety disorders, and certain seizure types such as absence seizures and myoclonic seizures.

Pharmacology:
Contains Clonazepam, a benzodiazepine that enhances the effect of the neurotransmitter GABA in the brain, producing a calming effect by depressing abnormal electrical activity.

Dosage:
Dosage varies per condition; typically starts at 0.25 mg to 0.5 mg twice daily, adjustable by the physician based on clinical response and tolerability.

Administration:
Take orally with or without food. Tablets should be swallowed whole.

Interaction:
May interact with CNS depressants, alcohol, other anticonvulsants, and certain antidepressants. Inform your healthcare provider of all medications.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to benzodiazepines, severe respiratory insufficiency, severe liver disease, and sleep apnea syndrome.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, coordination problems, and memory impairment. Rarely, paradoxical reactions like increased anxiety or aggression may occur.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed and prescribed. Clonazepam crosses the placenta and is excreted in breast milk; consult doctor before use during breastfeeding.
