SIGTIL M 50/500 is indicated for patients suffering from depression with coexisting type 2 diabetes mellitus, helping to manage mood disorders and blood glucose levels simultaneously.
Pharmacology:
Contains Sertraline, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that balances serotonin in the brain to relieve depression and anxiety, and Metformin, a biguanide that lowers hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity.
Dosage:
Dosage should be individualized by the physician. Typically, one tablet daily with meals is recommended, with adjustments based on clinical response.
Administration:
Take orally with food to minimize gastrointestinal side effects. Swallow tablet whole; do not crush or chew.
Interaction:
