Corangi 10 mg is indicated for:
Chronic heart failure (NYHA Class II to IV) with reduced ejection fraction
Stable angina pectoris in patients with normal sinus rhythm and contraindication to beta-blockers or in combination with them
Ivabradine selectively inhibits the funny current (If) in the sinoatrial node of the heart, leading to heart rate reduction without affecting myocardial contractility or ventricular repolarization, improving oxygen balance and heart efficiency.
Initial dose: 5 mg twice daily
May be increased to 7.5–10 mg/day depending on heart rate and clinical response
Max dose: 7.5 mg twice daily (total 15 mg/day)
Take orally with meals to enhance absorption. Maintain regular dosing time daily.
Avoid use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ketoconazole, clarithromycin)
Use cautiously with verapamil or diltiazem
