Prevention and treatment of chronic stable angina pectoris
Adjunct therapy in coronary artery disease and heart failure management
Contains Isosorbide Mononitrate, a nitrate vasodilator that relaxes smooth muscles in blood vessels, reduces myocardial oxygen demand, and improves coronary blood flow by dilating arteries.
Adult dose: One 6.4 mg sustained-release tablet once daily, or as prescribed.
Dose adjustments depend on clinical response.
Take orally with water, preferably in the morning.
Do not crush or chew tablets.
Contraindicated with phosphodiesterase inhibitors (e.g., sildenafil).
Use caution with other antihypertensives and vasodilators.
Hypersensitivity to nitrates
Severe anemia, hypotension, increased intracranial pressure
Concurrent use with PDE5 inhibitors
Headache, dizziness, flushing
Hypotension, tachycardia
Rare allergic reactions
Use only if clearly necessary and prescribed by a doctor.
Monitor blood pressure regularly.
Avoid sudden discontinuation.
Inform your doctor about all medications being taken.
