Description
Novonil 20 mg is a medication containing vonoprazan, a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB) developed by Pharmasia Limited. Unlike traditional proton pump inhibitors, vonoprazan does not require activation by acid and works by reversibly inhibiting the H⁺, K⁺-ATPase in gastric parietal cells, thereby reducing gastric acid secretion. This mechanism makes it effective in treating various acid-related gastrointestinal disorders.
