Description
Telfast 120 mg is a non-drowsy antihistamine containing fexofenadine hydrochloride, used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) in adults and children aged 12 years and older. It effectively alleviates sneezing, runny or itchy nose, and itchy, red, or watery eyes. The recommended dosage is one tablet daily, taken before a meal. Telfast starts to relieve symptoms within one hour and provides 24-hour relief. It is important to avoid taking antacids containing aluminium or magnesium within two hours of taking Telfast, as they may reduce its effectiveness. Consult a healthcare professional before using Telfast if you have liver or kidney problems, heart disease, or are elderly. Telfast is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor. Common side effects may include headache, drowsiness, dizziness, and nausea. If any severe allergic reactions occur, such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, seek immediate medical attention.
