Bacofen 5 mg Tablet is a centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant containing Baclofen 5 mg. It is used to treat muscle spasticity associated with conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological disorders. Baclofen works by inhibiting both monosynaptic and polysynaptic reflexes at the spinal level, leading to muscle relaxation. It may also act at intraspinal sites, producing central nervous system depression and exerting an antinociceptive effect.
