Description

Nep TS is a sterile ophthalmic suspension containing 0.3% Nepafenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) designed for topical application to the eyes. Upon instillation, Nepafenac penetrates the cornea and is converted by ocular tissue hydrolases to Amfenac, a potent NSAID that inhibits the cyclooxygenase enzyme, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation and pain.
