XOREL 10 MG is a proton pump inhibitor containing Rabeprazole Sodium. It reduces stomach acid production by blocking the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells. It is used to treat conditions like active duodenal ulcers, gastric ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and to aid in Helicobacter pylori eradication when combined with antibiotics. It is taken orally, usually once daily before meals, to relieve symptoms related to excess stomach acid.
