Indications:
FLEXIRIL 5 MG Tablet is used for the treatment of muscle spasms caused by:

Acute musculoskeletal injuries.

Muscle strains or sprains.

Post-surgical or trauma-related muscle pain.
Pharmacology:
Cyclobenzaprine is a centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant. It works by inhibiting motor nerve hyperactivity, providing relief from pain and stiffness associated with muscle spasms.
Dosage and Administration:

Dosage: 5 mg taken orally, 2 to 3 times daily, or as prescribed by a doctor.

Administration: Swallow the tablet with water after meals to reduce gastric irritation.
Interaction:

Avoid concurrent use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) due to increased risk of severe side effects.

Combining with alcohol or other sedatives may enhance sedation and drowsiness.
Contraindications:

Known allergy to Cyclobenzaprine or other ingredients in the formulation.

Patients with a history of cardiac arrhythmias, heart block, or recent myocardial infarction.
Side Effects:
