Indications:
ROXTAL XP 250 MG Tablet is indicated for:

Upper and lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia).

Skin and soft tissue infections (e.g., cellulitis, impetigo).

Urogenital infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
Pharmacology:
The active ingredient, Roxithromycin, is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, preventing the growth and multiplication of bacteria.
Dosage and Administration:

Dosage: 250 mg twice daily, or as directed by a physician.

Administration: Take orally at least 15 minutes before meals for optimal absorption.
Interaction:

May interact with anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin) and other medications metabolized by the liver.

Avoid concurrent use with ergot derivatives, as it may increase the risk of ergot toxicity.
Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to Roxithromycin or other macrolide antibiotics.

Severe hepatic impairment.
