Indications:
PICO PLUS 10 MG Tablet is indicated for:

Short-term relief of constipation.

Preparation of the bowel for diagnostic procedures such as colonoscopy.
Pharmacology:
The active ingredient, Sodium Picosulfate, is a prodrug that stimulates the colonic mucosa to promote peristalsis and increase water secretion into the colon, facilitating bowel movements.
Dosage and Administration:

Dosage: 10 mg once daily, preferably at bedtime, or as directed by a physician.

Administration: Take orally with water. Avoid consuming with milk or antacids to prevent reduced efficacy.
Interaction:

Avoid use with other laxatives to prevent excessive bowel activity.

May interact with medications affecting electrolyte balance, such as diuretics or corticosteroids.
Contraindications:

Intestinal obstruction or severe abdominal pain of unknown cause.
