Indications:
PICO PLUS 100 ML Syrup is indicated for:

Temporary relief of constipation.

Bowel cleansing before diagnostic procedures like colonoscopy.
Pharmacology:
Sodium Picosulfate in the syrup works as a stimulant laxative. It activates the intestinal mucosa to enhance peristalsis and increases water secretion in the colon, promoting bowel movements.
Dosage and Administration:

Dosage: Adults and children above 10 years: 5-10 ml at bedtime.
Children 4-10 years: 2.5-5 ml as advised by a physician. -
Administration: Measure the syrup with the provided measuring cup or spoon. Take it orally, preferably at night for the best effect.
Interaction:

Concomitant use with diuretics or corticosteroids may increase the risk of electrolyte imbalance.

Avoid taking alongside antacids or dairy products, as they may reduce efficacy.
Contraindications:

Intestinal blockage or severe abdominal conditions of unknown cause.
