Indications:
ROXTAL XP 500 MG Tablet is indicated for:

Respiratory tract infections such as tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia.

Skin and soft tissue infections, including cellulitis and abscesses.

Urogenital infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
Pharmacology:
The active ingredient, Roxithromycin, is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. This action prevents the bacteria from multiplying and spreading, thereby combating infections.
Dosage and Administration:

Dosage: 500 mg once daily or as prescribed by a physician.

Administration: Take orally with water, preferably 15 minutes before meals for better absorption.
Interaction:

Avoid simultaneous use with ergot derivatives due to the risk of ergotism.

May interact with anticoagulants like warfarin, potentially increasing the risk of bleeding.

May interfere with drugs metabolized by the liver enzymes.
Contraindications:
