TCL-R 10 mg is a lipid-lowering medication containing Atorvastatin, a selective inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme plays a crucial role in cholesterol biosynthesis. By inhibiting this enzyme, TCL-R effectively reduces levels of total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), apolipoprotein B (Apo B), and triglycerides, while modestly increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C).
