Description
Terbifin 1% Cream is a topical antifungal medication containing terbinafine hydrochloride, an allylamine class antifungal agent. It is effective against a broad spectrum of fungal pathogens, including dermatophytes, yeasts, and molds. Terbinafine works by inhibiting the enzyme squalene epoxidase, leading to a deficiency in ergosterol and accumulation of squalene within the fungal cell membrane, resulting in fungal cell death.
