Indications:
Treatment of localized bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected wounds, and folliculitis.

Pharmacology:
Mupirocin inhibits bacterial isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase, preventing protein synthesis and bacterial growth.

Dosage:
Apply a thin layer 2 to 3 times daily on the affected area or as directed by the physician.

Administration:
Topical application on clean, dry skin.

Interaction:
Minimal systemic absorption; interactions are rare.
