Description
Allygest is a synthetic progesterone derivative containing 5 mg of allylestrenol per tablet, manufactured by Nuvista Pharma Ltd. in Bangladesh. It is used to manage various pregnancy-related complications, including intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR), threatened abortion, habitual abortion, and threatened premature delivery. Allygest works by stimulating the production of progesterone in the placenta, enhancing uterine relaxation, and supporting the development of the uterine lining to maintain pregnancy.
