Description
Itonorm 50 mg Tablet contains Itopride Hydrochloride, a gastroprokinetic agent used to treat various gastrointestinal symptoms associated with chronic gastritis and functional dyspepsia. Itopride works by increasing acetylcholine levels through two mechanisms: antagonizing dopamine D2 receptors and inhibiting acetylcholinesterase. This dual action enhances gastric motility, accelerates gastric emptying, and improves coordination between the stomach and duodenum. Itonorm is indicated for conditions such as upper abdominal pain, bloating, heartburn, nausea, and vomiting.
