Description
Lynes is a combined oral contraceptive pill manufactured by Nuvista Pharma Ltd., containing Ethinylestradiol 0.05 mg and Lynestrenol 2.5 mg. Ethinylestradiol is a synthetic form of estrogen, while Lynestrenol is a synthetic progestogen. Together, they work to prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to block sperm entry, and altering the uterine lining to prevent implantation. Lynes is also used to regulate menstrual cycles and manage conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis.
