Indications:
DOMIN is indicated for:

Treatment of nausea and vomiting from various causes
-
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms
-
Delayed gastric emptying (gastroparesis)
Pharmacology:
Domperidone is a peripheral dopamine receptor antagonist that increases gastric motility and accelerates gastric emptying, reducing nausea and vomiting.
Dosage & Administration:
-
Adults: 10 mg three to four times daily, 15-30 minutes before meals.

Adjust dose as per clinical response.
Interaction:
-
May interact with drugs prolonging QT interval and CYP3A4 inhibitors.

Avoid combined use with other dopamine antagonists.
Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to Domperidone

Prolactin-releasing pituitary tumors

QT prolongation or cardiac arrhythmias
Side Effects:

Dry mouth, abdominal cramps, diarrhea

Rare: cardiac arrhythmias, extrapyramidal symptoms
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use only if clearly needed; consult doctor before use.
