Indications:
ALGIN is indicated for acute and chronic pain conditions such as back pain, migraine, trauma, surgery-related pain, and neuropathic pain.
Pharmacology:
Flupirtine is a selective neuronal potassium channel opener with NMDA receptor antagonist properties. It exerts analgesic and muscle relaxant effects without typical NSAID side effects.
Dosage & Administration:
Adults: 100 mg to 200 mg per day in divided doses, as prescribed by a physician. Maximum dose should not exceed 600 mg/day.
Take after meals with water.
Interaction:
May interact with CNS depressants, alcohol, and hepatotoxic drugs. Caution advised when taken with other sedatives.

Side Effects:
Dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth, or mild liver enzyme elevation.

Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation unless clearly needed and prescribed by a physician.
Precautions & Warnings:
Monitor liver function with prolonged use. Avoid alcohol. Caution in elderly and patients with liver conditions.
