Description
Saltica HFA 25/250 Inhaler is a metered-dose inhaler (MDI) manufactured by Renata Limited in Bangladesh. Each actuation delivers 25 micrograms of Salmeterol and 250 micrograms of Fluticasone Propionate, combining a long-acting β2-adrenergic receptor agonist with an inhaled corticosteroid. This combination is used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in patients requiring both long-term bronchodilation and anti-inflammatory therapy. The typical dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older is two inhalations twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart. After inhalation, it is recommended to rinse the mouth to minimize the risk of oral infections. Saltica HFA 25/250 is not intended for the relief of acute bronchospasm but is effective for long-term control when used regularly.
