Indications:
Used for prevention of thrombotic events such as myocardial infarction, stroke, and peripheral arterial disease.
Pharmacology:
Clopidogrel inhibits platelet aggregation by blocking ADP receptors; Aspirin inhibits cyclooxygenase, reducing thromboxane A2 production.
Dosage:
Typically one tablet daily or as directed by physician.
Administration:
Oral administration, with or without food.
Interaction:
Potential interaction with anticoagulants, NSAIDs, other antiplatelet drugs, and certain antidepressants.
