Indications:
Treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Pharmacology:
Tadalafil is a PDE5 inhibitor that relaxes blood vessels and increases blood flow to the penis.
Dosage:
Recommended 10-20 mg prior to sexual activity or as directed by a physician; typically once daily.
Administration:
Oral use, with or without food, taken about 30 minutes before sexual activity.
Interaction:
Avoid using with nitrates, alpha-blockers, or other medications lowering blood pressure.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to tadalafil, concurrent nitrate therapy, severe heart disease.
Side Effects:
Headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, dizziness.
Pregnancy & Lactation:
Not applicable for females; for male use only.
Precautions & Warnings:
Do not combine with nitrates; seek immediate help if vision or hearing issues occur.
