ERTIVIX is indicated for the prevention and treatment of angina pectoris caused by coronary artery disease.
Pharmacology:
ERTIVIX contains Isosorbide-5-mononitrate, a nitrate that works by relaxing the smooth muscles in blood vessel walls, especially in the veins, thus reducing the heart’s workload and oxygen demand.

Contraindicated in patients with severe anemia, hypotension, increased intracranial pressure, and hypersensitivity to nitrates.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include headache, dizziness, light-headedness, flushing, and hypotension.
