Filodox 200 mg Tablet is a bronchodilator medication manufactured by Navana Pharmaceuticals Ltd., containing 200 mg of Doxofylline as the active ingredient. It is primarily used to treat respiratory conditions such as bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and bronchospasm. Doxofylline works by selectively inhibiting phosphodiesterase 4, leading to the relaxation of bronchial smooth muscles and improved airflow. Unlike Theophylline, Doxofylline has a decreased affinity for adenosine receptors, potentially offering a better safety profile.
