Description
Lulider 30 gm is a topical antifungal cream containing Luliconazole, a potent azole antifungal agent. It is primarily used to treat superficial fungal infections such as tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea corporis (ringworm), caused by dermatophytes like Trichophyton rubrum and Epidermophyton floccosum. Luliconazole works by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol demethylase, leading to a reduction in ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. This disruption results in increased membrane permeability and ultimately the death of the fungal cell. The 30 gm tube is suitable for treating larger affected areas or for patients requiring extended treatment durations. It is manufactured by Navana Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and is available in Bangladesh.
